I fuckin LOVE Brock Lesnar. That was one of the best post-fight interviews in UFC history, absolute gold.

thanks. i need to see it.
i cant believe they never mentioned it onve in the whole broadcast. everyone i was with were talking bout it non stop. gsp looked insane. no one will challange him. whos next the winner of marvin kampman and mike swick????? time for another super fight!!! my highlight was bisping getting knocked the fuck out. then the jumping punch that is so ufc undisputed. fuck that was awesome! lesnar just mauling mir and then shit talking after. they showed one reply, right after he won, lesnar got up, was yelling something (it was slow mo so you couldnt hear) and he was spitting all over then he spat out his mouthpiece and it was like a damn breaking the amount of saliva that came out then he headbutted the cage a few times. gonna have a coors light. i said coors light cause bud light wont pay me who is gonna touch brock? fedor maybe if they can work out a deal sexiyama and belcher was alright. not a fight of the night in my books but def not the upset decision rogan and goldie were yammering about fitch and paulo was quite a snooze fest esp after the two title fights |

That kid stopped every jab Akiyama threw with his face, and his counterpunching was shit too I'm shocked Akiyama didn't just take it to the ground and choke the life out of the little shit |

Well... all the favourites showed up last night...
GSP, what an amazing fighter! His ground work is flawless, but Thiago didn't give up without a fight, he lasted all 5 rounds. I think GSP got injured in the 3rd round, I can't remember, but without a doubt, he dominated the pitbull. Great fight, definitely not disappointing and just like GSP said, I think Thiago is definitely going to learn from this. Hendeson's KO, I mean... WOW. If the first punch wasn't enough, the second one on the ground was like SEE YOU LATTEEER AND GOOD NIGHT. Very happy with Fitch, I had no doubt with that guy, too bad they faught in an empty arena. The Jap made a great debut to UFC too, it was a great fight to start off the night. Who came out to the Andrea Bocelli song? That was so fucking hilarious!!! I am sure many will agree that the most disappointing fight would have to be Lesnar vs. Mir and I am not saying that because I was rooting for Mir, I am saying because Mir just got ass-raped - almost looked like he didn't even prepare for this fight. I mean dude, how can you allow yourself to fall to the ground and have a fucking mountain on top of you? You KNOW that's where you're going to lose the battle and well... that's what happened. He handled the standup, pushed him against the cage, threw him down and BOOOMMMMMM, Herb Dean ended the fight. Fuck Mir looked like shit afterwards. Lesnar was SOLID, SOLID, SOLID... I thought it was the most hilarious thing to see Lesnar so fired up after the fight, still trash-talking Mir. lol Great UFC, it made my night to see my idol though - Machida. He looked so clean and proper in his suit. I can't wait for the Shogun fight.

I want to watch the prelim fights... !? Shit I was hoping to see danzig fight in the PPV.
great night of broadcast fights. I thought GSP did exactly what he had to do against alves... don't go toe-to-toe, take him down, punish him for 2-3 rounds and wear him out, then express his will. Would have been nice for GSP to finish it with a submission, but all credit to Alves for having more in the way of stamina and even being able to get out from GSP's ground control. |

Decent night of fights.
All I can say is wtf was Bisping doing circling TOWARDS Hendo's bomb? I though Bisping would have been much faster than he looked, but I'm glad Dan won, even though I picked Bisping. I can't see anyone touching GSP at 170 for a while...with beating Alves, he's just about cleaned house...I would have loved to see a more emphatic stamp on the win (e.g. a submission or TKO/KO), but am still pleased with the win, especially after the groin pull in the 3rd. Lesnar's a douchebag, but that was hilarious. I'm wondering if they'll implement a superheavyweight weightclass at some point...I know there's not much competition above 245 lbs, but that's a lot of weight difference between the bottom of the HW division and the current max limit (205 to 265). And that's with cutting weight...Lesnar's easily 285 and probably more like 295 by fight time. Akiyama's enterance song slayed me. I hope he has a better showing next fight. He looked gassed by round 2. Belcher could have easily won that fight. Robbery? Not really, but definitely a close fight. I do agree that Akiyama most certainly did not win every round, but he did enough in every round to contest it. I've got the prelims on the DL, so I'll watch 'em tomorrow. |

i think gsp needs to take some time away, put on a lil bit of weight, and get with silva. catch weight or whatever, but as he put it, he needs the competition, and really he has nothing to lose in doing it. silva's a big guy, height and reach wise, but he's not a "big" guy. i don't think it much matters that gsp weighs less than silva. the same height and reach issues are gonna be there regardless of how much weight he puts on, and really, gsp's strength in countering that is gonna be his speed and transition. so i think it would be unwise to fuck with that too much, as those are among his strengths as is. |
