Tetr4 Editor Issue...
Platform: WinXP serv pack2
Laptop: Lenovo Issue: Tetr4 editor does not communicate with the Tetr4 hardware... When polling the Tetr4 hardware with the editor it will not connect and this is with midi out (usb audio device) and midi in (usb audio device) selected... I figure the issue is with the laptop... Troubleshooting so far... 1. Tetr4 hardware and Tetr4 editor work fine on my other PC laptop... 2. USB ports are ok 3. USB cable is ok 4. Tetr4 driver (shows as USB audio device) when viewing the Device Manager when plugging in the Tetr4 hardware... 5. Removed editor software dl'd a fresh one and installed... I'm suspecting it may be that the USB audio device is corrupt but Windows sez it's working fine plus this driver is a generic Windows driver... The Tetr4 came without any specific drivers... |

It's a laptop issue and not a hardware issue... The Tetra works fine on my other laptop... So there are so many variables involvinn the laptop that I expect Dave Smith will not be able to sort out plus the editor software is from SoundTower...
