Oh, sorry, I just figured you were on top of all the DnB/Jungle genres. Essentially it's the funkier/jazzier side of DnB. Not so abrassive, smooth rollers, more vocals (sometimes), etc, etc.

This new set of mine is a lot more on the lighter side of the genre...check a few posts up for my last cd, testament. It's probably a bit more to your liking, but clearly not old school.

im grabbing it tell ya what i think when i listen to it.....it isnt that i am not giving the new stuff a chance, it is just that the chance is given and the music doesnt do ANYTHING for me...maybe a few kewl beats and an okay bassline, but it just doesnt sound as diverse as the old stuff

doesnt sound at all dance floor friendly to me, but then again, after being to a few new jams, it just seems thugging out is now considered dancing...i was never one for thugs, i was there for the rush i got from the music and the feeling of being part of something, havent gotten that vibe from anything that is coming out in the last few years

ive seen jp and melissa(smilez) they just bop and stay in place, that isnt dancing, that is head bopping

when i dance i reflect the music im hearing in my actions on the dance floor, it has to speak to me
