Question about mud wraps

I'm going for my first ever body wrap (of the mud variety) tomorrow and I'm not sure what to expect.

What happens? Am I supposed to be completely nude while they smother me with mud? they didn't ask whether I wanted a male or female, so I'm guessing not...but I can't picture how it is going to work if I'm NOT totally nude, or at least in a bikini bottom only.

Do I bring a bikini bottom then?

Anyone had one before?

Yeah I had one at the Silvery Blue Butterfly in Oakville.

They give you paper underpants like at the hospital and then they rub you all over. I wasn't such a huge fan.

I've had both a mudwrap and a full-body salt scrub, and yeah, they gave me a paper thong to wear both times. I don't get bikini waxes or anything so I've never felt so exposed before when getting a spa treatment.

spa treatments, like beauty products, and clothes are subject to fads.

pedicures are timeless. like pearls. mud and seaweed wraps were big in the 80s. like spandex.

Ive been once and it was actually nice and felt amazing.

They make you wear a paper underwear thingy and then put a towel on your chest. No mud on the chest. I am sure if you want you can ask them to but that's not really wear my skin is driest.

I found that the combo mud and scrub left my skin feeling really amazing.

I actually contemplated doing it again because no amount of putting lotion on my arms and legs keeps it from flaking and drying out during the winters.

I think in the winters it might be a good thing to do for the skin here and there.

A salt scrub will make your skin sooooosoft. I'd rather take a mud bath than a mud wrap.

I went this afternoon and it was great! She painted me with a brush of mud and then wrapped me mummy-style in plastic and tinfoil. Sounds strange, but it didn't feel strange. I think it's more the person rather than the amt of nudity that makes me feel comfortable or uncomfortable and in this case, she was fantastic.
Mud wraps might be "trendy" in north america, but in India they've been a detoxifying treatment for eons. She said that they are a very popular service at spas in Toronto and have been for quite some time.
