PS3 media server and youtube

Does anyone use PS3 media server to stream youtube? I can't get it to work or find out how to make it work anywhere!

Maybe you can use a streamer like PLayOn or Tversity? There are others as well I am sure.

All the searches I'm finding online says Hulu has "blocked" the PS3.

Am I missing something? There's a specific youtube portal for the PS3.

When I click on it, nothing happens. I have no other problems with ANY other videos, except the web stuff. (through ps3 media server)

So when you open the PS3 web browser and go to http://www.youtube.com/tv nothing happens?

if I use ps3 media server, the video won't stream, just sits on a black screen

If you have Google Desktop, you may want to download the Google Media Server application. With it, you'll have an easy way of sending YouTube videos to your PS3. Once a computer on the same network as your PS3 is configured with Google Media Server, you'll be able to easily access the most viewed, top rated, and other featured YouTube videos instantly from the XMB. In fact, you'll not only see thumbnails, but you'll also be able to copy the videos directly to your PS3 hard drive, for easy replayability.
