3 Stages @ Cherry Beach Sept 17th

This was one of the best Cherry Beach partys Ive been to yet! Props to all the promoters for all the different stages! I ended up spinnin on 2 of the stages, funny cause Opel came up to me and was like... U want to do a Vs with me on the other stage... I was like forsure! Pretty Boy Acid was missing in action but then showed up right b4 the start of there set, so we ended up doing a 3 way Vs, PBA Vs Opel Vs HardFlow! Wicked set we threw down and damn was there alot of ppl there to witness that! Good to see everyone busting a groove to our beats! Then at 4:15 I headed over to the other stage to spin again for an Hr, and so Opel joined me and we did a Vs between us 2! Not to many ppl over at that other stage when I got there, but after my 2nd tune, was packed again! Always good!

DJs that I saw kicked ass, Jonny Numonic spun some really good Jungle!

To Bacchus... ya that totally sucks bud, it was a fight it seemed to try and get a slot! I really wish u did get some deck time cause I wanted to hear some Hardstyle!

I got tons of video, gonna be hopefully uploading to the comp soon then to the internet! Ill keep ya posted!

Why didint you give baccuhs some of your set time, since you got to play more then once

I never even spun at that stage till 4:15am, I couldnt get my deck time either untill I started fighting for it! Dan wasent around when I did get deck time on the other stage, and we were already doing a 3 way vs on the other stage! Dan was spinnin Tribal Funky stuff and it wouldnt go with out Hard Trance UK HardHouse battle! Sorry!

So far one review... I figured there would have been more.... maybe no one from this site went? Yeah right....

Anyways this was a very good night. I only caught a handful of sets but had a great time.

I was really impressed with the crowd during our (chase23 & the operator) set. I guess the dance comp helped. However I think the kids really liked the electro funk beats.

Marty McFly and Shug were stellar and really got the crowd going. Lucky for us we were playing afterwards.

To bad we had to leave early though. By early I mean 330am... but that's early by rave standards.

I had an awsome time.

I got down to the beach around 10 or so and ran into so many people that I have not seen in AGES! So big fat shout outs to all of you.

The jungle stage scared me just a little bit. A couple of my friend playing on that stage came and stashed there records over at the air head stage beacuse they were affraid of having the the "junglists" steal them! I heard even a few fights broke out..

HUGE thank yous out to the Airhead and Quixotic guys for having me out to play. I got to follow an AMAZING electro set by Chase 23 and the Operator. It seemed enough of you enjoyed my glitchy glitch and techouse.

The sumo wrestleing was hella cool! Esspeically seening drunk people inside those huge suits and then trying to beat each other up with some fake body weight.
I had a time! Cheers and thanks to everyone.

Both Angie and I had a sweet time. However we had no idea there would be two other cherry beach parties going on at the same time. So when I first arrived? I stumbled upon the jungle stage. I didnt see many people there I knew so I checked the next stage. I started following people elsewhere and began hearing MORE music. weeeeee.. so lucky I found the right stage about 10 mins before SHUG and I were to throw down. Yoooo! DJ SHUG, you got some dope tunes man. I really enjoyed mixing with you. we complimented each other's music pretty well and the end result was a super fun set. I saw a computer with sound levels moving up and down but I don't think it was recording... I had a kick ass night for sure. Great seeing everyone again. It feels like forever. I want to thank feeboo & all the members of the federation of planets for the love.

I loved how this group of promoters put this together. whats the company name again? I have to keep my eye open for them in the future. Because for me its the little things promoters do that I love sooooo much. And those sumo suits were the best. who's the genius who brought that? I heard that you got sorta smellly if you wore the suit.. grrrr... Im still kicking myself for not trying it out though. I think .. no wait.. I KNOW!!!!! I could have been champion. shug and I should have suited up after our set and sumo'd.

omg.. you know the last time I did something like that was against a female dj named MADAME LYNX. Her and I wrestled in red jello after our set at the docks once.... hahaha... SOOOOO messy and SOOOOO much fun. I sue-plexed her soo good. *giggles*

I also really enjoyed the dance contest too. The circle of light was a nice touch. I have to admit I missed my bOY stefan's dance. But everyone did their best on the grass. Sorry stephan, I looked away and you were done before i knew it. I would have cheered my ass off if I see ya at the right time.
