hypnotic brass ensemble '09

weeeeooooo that was a fantastic show as expected. i loved their performance last year at the nufunk festival and this one was just as good. they are a bit more vocal now, a bit rap here and there and the usual stuff to get the crowd up.

footprints went on after(i assume they were on before too), so there was a bit of everything for showgoers here. it was quite a wet night but i thought this would be better than letting the weather take over my night. i did end up getting massively soaked just before arriving at home though which was rough.

i also have a funny memory of nufunk jay carrying a large case of beer to the backstage area after the show. this would not be an easy group to accommodate so thank god for promoters they aren't 9 princesses

i think i will go to all their shows from now on. i think they are one of the best live groups you can see these days. no question.

Arrrggh... mad at myself for missing this. I was right in that area too. I hit a wall of tiredness at midnight and opted for sleep. I suck.

i almost bailed myself too don't worry
i tried to take a 5 minute power nap which was almost the end of me, i think i missed almost half an hour of the show.
