UK Dub
First time rally posting here, wanted to see if anyone here is into UK dub music and that whole scene. Stuff like Iration Steppas, Disciples, Alpha & Omega, etc.
This was a doc made last year covering that scene: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8ZIN963rek |

R&S is aight. Bit too minimal for my needs. I'm talking about the heavy upfront UK soundsytem style dub.
like this crucial piece from the mid 90s- |

Ze Deutsch ARE definately on the scene...
Big fan of the Jahtari Records sound out of Leipzig...and I recommend Jahtarian Dubbers Volume 1 and 2. Standout artists like African Simba, Rootah, John Frum, Solo Banton, Mikey Murka and Disrupt delivering the dub, "inna computah game stylee". Wicked everytime! |

African Simba, Solo Banton, and Mikey Murkah are from England. Not sure about the other cats, but Jahtari is Dutch. Kinda gimmicky 8 bit sound but it sounds fresh. King Shiloh are from Netherlands, and Twilight Circus is there now. You might dig Mungo's Hi Fi if you like Jahtari.
