i'm extactic that people have revived my mix and given me some constructive criticism. the whole purpose of posting this mix was to pick up pointers. and now i have. the mission was a success, even if you didn't like the mix. (ps. geminigirl, you're cut from the christmas list. )

i look forward to future reviews and i hope tribe looks forward to my future (new and improved) mixes.

aighty aight.

just gave it a listen while doing up some statistiscs problems - a pleasant distraction from zee numbers.

mixing is solid, nothing wrong with it, sounds good.

good selection of tunes i'd say, and i like that it covers a broad range of house. it ain't easy to do that sort of thing, but i like sets that do that.

now generally i'll agree with some of the comments about the flow - i think that maybe all the tracks are there but just require reprogramming.

also, on the constructive tip, when you're trying to incorporate so many different types of sounds(house or otherwise) the programming is important, but also it would be useful to try to be creative with the mixing - bringing stuff in early or late again... something to kind of send out the vibe that yeah, it really is all part of one cohesive whole.

i really like that second crusade tune. an oldie but a goodie
(note to self - bust that out next time)

word. i like the "tease and repeat." afrika bambaataa did a lot of that when he played roxy blu and it just kept bumping the energy up up up.
