Happy Hardcore

In honour of Hullabaloo....

what's your favourite HHC tape OR tape recorded at a Hulla?

I think the all time classic toronto HHC set goes to Happy 2b Hardcore vol. 3 (its the baby blue one). Its more or less the studio version of the set he spun at Rush Hour.

i've got a couple of d-minus tapes i like too.

anyone else? personal favs?

you pretty much have to NOT have any musical standards to like happy hardcore.

i'm well aware of the Hardcore room. BUT given that today is a special day and that there are Tribers actually going to Hulla, i thought i'd throw it into the general forum.

good call Robin. i missed that set. it was too fucking hot and i left the party before they went on. i ended up sitting on the lawn outside 501 Alliance for hours waiting for the shuttle to come back.

there's a difference between music and having fun. HHC is not about music - its about fun.

and my musical taste is quite refined thank you.

you pretty much have to jack it down 1000!

I LOATHE when people hate on others for enjoying a specific genre/style of music. "whan whan whan, you have no taste in music" UGH! It frustrates me to no end.

why don't you take yourself to the nobody cares thread, dickcheese.

happy hardcore at ten at night in a really, really small (like basement small) pub was too awesome for words, I have never really listened to it before and he introduced it to me! I died laughing, it was too amazing! YAY FOR JAMES!
